Assignment 3-Lively Birthday Card

First of all,this is my chosen original birthday card,as a reference.

And the reference text is..




Next,just a simple research about phenomena called 'BIRTHDAY'..

How its celebrated..

In Malaysia all birthday celebrations family members and friends gather together to enjoy food. They may sing along together or play musical instruments. Friends or relatives who visit give presents to the person celebrating their birthday or they may give an ang-bao. This is a small red packet filled with money. If relatives do not know what to buy, the money is a good present.

At about 16 when teenagers start to invite boys and girls to their parties there is lots of dancing and games to help find a partner. They often make up their own games so that everyone eventually finds their own partner. The trick is always to have the same numbers of boys and girls! At 18 birthdays are celebrated with family members or people may go to the movies with their boy/girlfriend. At 21 people usually have a big party.

At all birthday celebrations people have birthday cake with candles and they sing the Happy Birthday song in English, Chinese or Malay.

Assignment 2- Deadly Calender<><>

ASSIGNMENT 2 AND ITS PROGRESS

Now,we have to redesign a calender and relate it with the Festival on that month.We have to choose some example as the reference from the aspect of object position and..(i forgot what else)
After observing all the calender,I decided to take this calender as my 'answer sheet'.


THE MAKING Of my calendeR


-1st STEP
use the rectangular shape and make a new path,
gradient it as follows.




-2nd STEP
Find a picture as the reference.I choosed this.





-3rd STEP
put the picture at the back,lock it,and make a new layer in front.
Then trace it...lalalalala...it will become like this,and using pen tool,
draw the simple signboard.





-4th STEP
put it above the green rectangle and type the calender,the month,and the Slogan.













And the outcome is...this










Now,let me explain a bit about this calender:-

• the color,GREEN is to show the color of Hari Raya Aidilfitri
• the highway,is to show the journey to our hometown,hometown where we were born,where we raised,where we played,where the 1st friendship develop..and where we celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with our beloved family.
• the slogan, Balik Kampung! is the right words to describe Hari Raya

What i've to TacoBell old logo..<

As I'm given a task to redesigning some sort of logo,which is the TacoBell's logo,

so,this is the final appearance of that logo..

There are several meaning's about the colour,shape of my new logo:-

• 'Tudung Saji' (I dont know how to pronounce it in English) is one of the unique object used by our local Malaysian to keep the food served is dust-free and tidy.Nowaday,you can still found this 'creature' in Malays house,but maybe the shape is evolve,a bit..the modern one presently is more eye-catshing,fully furnished(hahaha),and also with the shape,from circle to rectangular and so on..
• The green colour just represent the 'sence of village'....which is related to freshness,tidyness,and cleanliness of the food served to people.
  
• The pinky gradient at the 'Tudung Saji' is to symbolyze the originality of the Real TacoBell logo colour.
• The black 'Taco' is the contrast.
• The Blue,Red,White,and Yellow 'BELL' is to represent the National Flag's colour.That's the cultural criteria in this logo besides the 'Tudung Saji'
